Many have made such attempts through the years. But did they come back out? Around here, the problem is purple loosetrife. And emerald ash borers. And Asian red ladybird beetles. And Asian long-horned beetles. And garlic mustard. And zebra mussels. And the plume poppies we planted in the back yard. Well, sure. Many have made such attempts through the years.
