It’ll be quiet for a bit

End of semester. Project, project, homework, test, test, test, grant.

I am jotting things to share with you. They may pop up now and then, as a fist waved at my crowded iCal.

Nuff said.

I wonder when “calendar” disappears and is replaced entirely by “ical”.. and if anyone is noting these changes for future etymologists. Will we hear an episode of wordwatch in 50 or 100 years time on where “ical” came from?

I was actually using the Mayan term, ixtcal, meaning “calendar of sacrifices”. But I had trouble typing it.
