Not crossing a neural gap

Thus do I link to something that reinforces things previously read and said. Scott Eric Kaufman on psychoanalysis.

Be especially careful to read the dynamics of the comments there. This tension, this wrestling with unresolved issues—what can it mean?

Thanks for the link. That rejiggers my worldview in truly satisfying fashion. It’s like watching a kaleidoscope as received ideas take on new associations.

Do you accuse me of repeating myself, good sir? Because every couple of months my skull positively buzzes. Drops don’t work. Neither do pills. Nor oinments. Nor unguents alchemic.

I’ve tried couches, but alas, they require more than my prone body. So I repeat repetitions of earlier snippets of circular conversations in the hopes that this return will thrust this tinnitus from my skull. Alas! It never works. The whistling persists!

[Now I really do feel like I'm repeating myself.]

Laudanum. With lime coke. Works wonders for the uneasy mind, I find.

But no, I was saying that you are repeating me—though not in any replicative way. I had a crazy advisor, once, who believed with all his heart that traditional talking psychiatry was the solution to his troubles. And him a Famous Biochemist. Go fig.
