I started daydreaming about opening a funky tutoring center here in Honolulu … and then I realized that I didn’t have the people skills, time, energy, or money. I’m contributing to the world with my daily 25-100 pages at Distributed Proofreaders. That’s my widow’s mite.

Increasingly I’m finding people around me who seem to have the time and inclination to do the things I don’t have time to do. Which is interesting.

Tutoring is something that takes a hundred, a thousand people. Amazing thing to me, watching the video after hearing briefly about the venture, is that they have hundreds and thousands of volunteers. They did that.
